A virtual private server or VPS, is a special type of server created through a process called virtualization. A server is usually assigned one task at a time. Some hosting companies can do this by their unique implementations of a hypervisor-program. Open source applications are becoming more popular as users and businesses try to cut down on borrowing costs. Open source hypervisors often lend themselves for unique interpretations. Virtualization combined with cloud server technology opens the door to a new era. Will change the way servers are used as cloud computing starts to catch on, despite the continuing concerns about safety. Cloud Servers free a business or a consumer still in one physical location.
