ICDAM: internal development enterprise agile methodology.

ICDAM is an agile methodology that can be applied to internal company departments. The current agile methodologies are aimed at companies with developing software. ICDAM is targeted for large companies that internal development departments.

ROLE DEFINITION:
There may be more people in the team (mixed-roles) but it is so important that the following three roles in the team. In this method, there are three important tasks:
The wizard: this role is applied to the person who has the most technical knowledge in the Potosí Department.
This role has three main tasks of a Department:

1 analyze) which is the best way to a project with the technical means that are available in the company to implement. Many times representing the company resources are limited, so then the wizard has to choose from the best way to use these resources to a project to implement. Before the wizard has to start making a new Project, for measuring the assets the new project, how the project should be assigned and the best technology (java, perl net., etc.) for the development of this project in the vicinity of the company.

2) trying to improve and upgrading the company's (for example, try to upgrade java version, server versions etc). He is the one who are looking for tools to new versions of company.

3) share his knowledge with the rest of the team.

The Knight: this role is applied to people who has the most business knowledge in the company. This person is usually the oldest person in the Department. This role has four main responsibilities in the Department:

1) after the technology measures are decisions for the new Project, he has to propose is the best way to develop the Project according to the type of users. He is the person who better know the users of the company.

2) check that the new projects are adeccuated with the company

3 Check) that if there is a external change that affects the company, he will report to the rest of the team the changes in all relevant projects.

4) share his knowledge with the rest of the team.

The King: this function is normally the head of the Department. The King determines the best way to solve problems between the wizard and Knight as there was no agreement on how to develop the project. The King rules, he is the King.

HOW TO WORK:

New project: before to make a new project, to start the wizard will spend a day or two the best technical way to search the project according to company sources.

The next stage: the wizard and Knight have a meeting (one or two hours), and they have to decide how to focus on this project, if the wizard, and the Knight he does not agree, the King must decide how it will be done.

Agenda meeting: every day they must meet to talk about the projects of the Department, new versions of the tools and external changes that affect the Department project requirements in their Department.

This article contains my point of view of how agile methodology applied to the internal division of a company should be.
